About Our Community
The Summer Wind community is comprised of 73 well maintained, modern style homes nestled between Saratoga Lake and Lake Lonely. An easy walking neighborhood with wide sidewalks and expansive Common Property areas that can be used for picnics, launching a kayak or canoe or watching a sunset at our private beach on Lake Lonely.
Summer Wind Homeowners Association, Inc is a New York Not-for-profit corporation incorporated on October 29, 1997. Created by property owners, Sheltertherm builders, to provide for the preservation of the values and amenities of the community.
The responsibility of the HOA was turned over to the Homeowners of Summer Wind homes when the builder sold 2/3’s of the allotted 73 homes in the development in 2001. The homeowners have been proud to have managed the association with an all volunteer membership ever since.
The HOA is pleased to provide Lawn maintenance, Snow removal, Semi-annual Cleanup, optional waste and recycling pickup, Insurance and management of common properties for the enjoyment of the community and has been the center of organizing community gatherings.
